A Major Milestone..... Big Girl Bed

Well it's been over a week since the last blog..... there goes our idea of blogging everyday but in all fairness, I didn't think we would post this many!


But anyway, this blog isn't about us..... it's about Triple L, Little Lady Lyra.


So we have, in my eyes, hit a major milestone of Lyra going into her big girl bed.  It was a big step to move her into this bed but she was just getting to big for her Moses basket.  The problem was, Lyra like to flail her arms about in her sleep, they would bounce of the side of the basket and then bash herself in the face.... Yeah, she's my daughter alright!!


It's fair to say that the move up has been a success, Lyra loves being in her big girl bed.  She is sleeping for a good 6/7 hours a night and seems to wake up at silly o'clock every few nights for a late night/early morning snack but she is doing just aces!!


On Monday night/Tuesday morning, we were woke up at at 3.30am by the most beautiful sound of Lyra have a full on conversation with the little creatures on the mobile above her bed... Miguel the monster, Gorge the Gingerbread man, Jingle Jangle Horse and Carlos the cup.  It just melted our hearts and we didn't mind getting up.....  It was just amazing.


Our little girl is growing up so fast, she is 10 weeks already, where does that time go?  She went to baby massage today and got weighed and she was 11lb 4oz!!!!  She is growing up big and strong and make her Daddy very proud.  I'm very much looking forward to next Wednesday as Heather is on a training course and I'm taking the day off to look after Lyra and I'll be taking her to baby massage and I'm very very VERY EXCITED about this fact!!!!!!!
